Introducing Inversium Labs: Building the Future of Multiplayer Gaming

Josh Harris

New Year, New Beginnings: The Launch of Inversium Labs

As we step into a new year, it’s hard not to feel the pull of fresh opportunities, the chance to turn ideas into reality, and the thrill of building something new. Today, I’m excited to announce the launch of Inversium Labs, a venture born from years of experience in multiplayer gaming services and a deep desire to push the boundaries of what’s possible in this space.

For those of you who know me, you’ll know that multiplayer gaming has been at the heart of my career. Whether it’s diagnosing legacy platforms or designing scalable orchestration solutions, I’ve always been fascinated by the challenges and opportunities of bringing players together in seamless, engaging online experiences. Inversium Labs is my next step on this journey—a company focused on reimagining multiplayer game services for developers and players alike.

What We’re Building

To start, we’re focusing on what my team and I know best: game server hosting, hybrid scaling, and orchestration. These are the foundational pieces that ensure games run smoothly, scale effortlessly, and deliver the experience players expect. We’re taking the hard lessons we’ve learned over the years and using them to build a platform that’s modern, developer-friendly, and reliable.

But this is just the beginning. Multiplayer gaming isn’t just about servers—it’s about the full ecosystem that supports players, developers, and communities. That’s why we’re already planning our expansion into matchmaking, lobby systems, persistent worlds, player authentication, and more. Our vision is to create a unified platform for multiplayer services—a single place where developers can find everything they need to build, scale, and manage their games.

Why Inversium Labs?

At Inversium Labs, we’re driven by one guiding principle: to put developers and players first. We’re not here to squeeze margins or chase shareholder interests. We’re here to solve real problems, simplify workflows, and help create experiences that players love.

This approach means building tools and services that are intuitive, flexible, and scalable. It means focusing on reliability and transparency, so developers can trust us with their games. And it means embracing innovation—not for its own sake, but to genuinely improve how multiplayer games are built and played.

A Journey Together

To my friends and former colleagues reading this: I hope you’ll join me on this journey. Whether it’s by sharing your insights, collaborating on projects, or just following along as we grow, your support means the world to me.

Starting something new is always daunting, but it’s also exhilarating. Inversium Labs is more than just a company to me—it’s a chance to take everything I’ve learned, everything I’m passionate about, and turn it into something that helps our industry thrive.

Here’s to a new year, new opportunities, and building the future of multiplayer gaming—together.
